I sat and heard a sermon by Rev. Dr. Jerry Streets, in the middle of it I wrote a series of ten words on a paper… identities, ways in which we are “othered”…

I have to set up a meeting with him to talk about his sermon (which I am not sure if I really heard, having been tripped up in an immersion into ways we are not like each other!

The words I wrote on my paper where, BOWLING FOR IDENTITIES:

• Race
• Religion
• LGBT
• Gender
• Money
• Age
• Language
• Status/Other

I think that I need to keep playing with this in order to make it into a True Ice Breaker.  Once I am done, I might take the time to write it all out.
