1.  Who received similar gifts?  Solomon 1Kings 10:2 “And she came to Jerusalem with a very great train, with camels that bare spices, and very much gold, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart.”
2. Jesus, was greater than King Solomon.  Matthew 12:42 “The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.”

3. Frankincense

   3. Used for Calming (in Worship): Leviticus 2: 1-2  “And when any will offer a meat offering unto the Lord, his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and put frankincense thereon:And he shall bring it to Aaron’s sons the priests: and he shall take thereout his handful of the flour thereof, and of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof; and the priest shall burn the memorial of it upon the altar, to be an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord:”
4. Myrrh
   1. Destined for Human Suffering (Destinado para Suffrimiento)
   2. Spice: smells sweet, tastes bitter
   3. Used for Healing (Painkiller): Matthew 27: 34 “They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink.”
   4. Used for Embalming: John 19: 39-40 “And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to Jesus by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight.  Then took they the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of the Jews is to bury.”
