There are days when I feel less than adequate and on those days I will remember days like today.  Normal days when the greatness of the Lord seems to shimmer at every glance, when with the merest hint of negativity, positivity shined infinitely brighter, as if glowing with a light permeating and radiating.

“Todo lo puedo en Cristo que me fortaleze” (Filipenses 4:13).  Todo es possible por Su amor.  Todo es possible con Su amor. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).  Everything is possible because of His love.  Everything is possible with His love.

People get so stuck and focused on those lines that I think we forget the beauty that we get with/from each other.  As I was talking to one of my Sister Amigas recently I said to her, I love you and I gotta tell you that you did wrong Chica!  Man, my dude, don’t cosign on others mistakes…I said: I love you so much that I gotta say, God gave me the gift of friends that are not just like me.  We don’t all fit.  We don’t all come from the same mold.  We are so different that our friendship takes work.  I said: I love you, but I wouldn’t be your friend if I had to cosign on your mistakes, without correcting you when you gotta be told the truth.  It goes both ways though.  I can take your criticism, and yeah I get my strength from God who strengthens me, but thank you for sharing in my heartaches.
